I am a professional music teacher and musician based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. My vocation as a teacher is a passion for me and it brings me joy to be able to share this passion with my students. My focus is purely your own needs and goals as a musician. Everybody has their own unique learning style, it is my duty to find what works best for you and to develop your learning in a relaxed and comfortable environment. 

 

Throughout my 40 years as a musician and a teacher, I have worked as the head of music at several schools as well as in theatre and cabaret and as a rock and jazz musician. I am also a former musical director at P&O cruises.

I hold a Postgraduate Certificate of Education as well as a Bachelor of Music degree at the University of Sheffield. I am a Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music.
